We are currently recruiting for a variety of Claims positions in multiple locations: Atlanta, GA, NY (NYC or Westchester, NY), Chicago, IL or Scottsdale, AZ. The positions are a hybrid schedule in the closest US office (2 days in-office and 3 days remote).
We are looking for Claims professionals with experience in Commercial Claims. Positions available in Misc Professional Liability, Allied Health, and Cyber and General Liability (bodily Injury).
Claims Examiner: 60K – 75K Base + Bonus + Benefits Package
Senior Claims Examiner: 85K – 115K Base + Bonus + Benefits Package
Complex Claims Specialist & Sr Complex Claims Specialist – 125K – 155K Base + Bonus + Benefits Package
Claims Manager (AVP Level) - 160K - 180K Base + Bonus + Benefits Package
Responsibilities:
- Adjust and resolve moderate to complex claims that can include all phases of litigation (depending on level).
- Document claim files with all relevant claim information, correspondence, and notes in compliance with policies and applicable regulatory authorities.
- Draft coverage letters, including reservation of rights and denial letters.
- Review and analyze claim documentation and legal filings to set timely and accurate reserves and notify the manager if upward segmentation is needed.
- Identify emerging exposures and claims trends.
- Drive litigation best practices to manage deployment and utilization of defense counsel.
- Identify suspected fraudulent claims and track with special investigations unit.
Requirements:
- Must have commercial claims experience
- A./B.S degree or JD from an accredited law school
- Certifications CPCU, ARMS, AINS a plus
- Advanced knowledge of claims analysis and adjusting practices
- Experience with litigated claims (senior level positions)
- In-depth knowledge of standards for claims documentation and legal filings
- Proven ability to actively and effectively negotiate settlement of moderate to complex claims
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
